About Us

The purpose of the committee:

1.  Estimate what funds will be needed to conduct its work.
2.  Establish a detailed time-line to complete its work no later than October 31, 2024.
3.  Retain expertise to conduct and prepare the study of new / alternative local news reporting models that could be adopted or adapted for the South Bend Region.
4. Prepare and submit a report to the board that will include recommendations for sustainable models to enhance local news reporting.
